SHANE DAVENPORT

Owner/Director of Performance

Shane Davenport and Exceed specialize in improving speed, power, strength and repeatability and teaching athletes how to use these abilities to express their sport-skills at the highest level.​

Shane has presented nationally and internationally and has consulted and designed systems for major college programs, professional athletes, World Champion martial arts programs and recreational athletes across the country.​

​Shane opened the doors to Exceed in June 2012. Before that, he was the Director of Performance and Head Coach at TEAMWORKS Sports Performance (Formerly CATZ) in Acton, MA. Shane holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association, a Catalyst Olympic Level 1 certification, Perfect Postures levels 1-3, a BioForceHRV certification and a Function Movement Screen Certification.

SEAN SMITH

Owner/Director of Operations

Sean started his training and coaching career as a young athlete under the mentorship of some of the most respected strength coaches in the industry, giving him excellent access to experience and knowledge. ​

He specializes in speed and performance training. Sean has 18 years of experience working with elite high school, college, and professional athletes. ​

Sean holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association, a USA Weightlifting Level 1 certification , a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition certification and a TPI Level 1.

Miguel Aragoncillo

Athletic Performance and Movement Science

Miguel Aragoncillo is a strength and conditioning coach and licensed massage therapist based out of Boston, MA. He has worked with athletes in the professional, collegiate, high school levels, along with youth athletes. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology in 2010 from Temple University. In 2017, Miguel became one of only 8 professionals worldwide to earn the Postural Restoration Trained (PRT) credential from the Postural Restoration Institute.

From 2014 to 2018 he worked at Cressey Sports Performance, and since then has worked in several performance and rehab facilities to blend the rehabilitation and performance worlds to accelerate progress.

He has also presented for the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2016 through 2018 on topics involving developing youth athletes, along with how to reduce injuries commonly seen in specialized sports.
